The Ministry's activity is aimed at saturating the market with goods, products and services, improving trade services and public catering, organizing wholesale and retail trade, and safeguarding state interests in the foreign market in accordance with international treaties.
Uninterrupted supply of the market with goods, products, and services, as well as the creation of necessary strategic reserves of food and non-food items.
Improving the organization of retail and food services and developing wholesale and retail trade through the implementation of advanced domestic and international practices.
Protecting national interests in the international market in accordance with international agreements and creating favorable conditions for the development of foreign trade activities.
Active cooperation with small and medium-sized businesses in the areas of food procurement, raw material supplies, and the construction of facilities for the production of bakery, dairy, and meat products.
Goods and products
Enterprises of the Ministry purchase foodstuffs at affordable prices for the population, and also import raw materials and industrial-purpose products needed for the construction of various facilities.
Enterprises for producing bakery, dairy and meat products are being built, which supports the development of domestic production and the saturation of the domestic market.
