The farm tower will be erected right next to the airport to allow fresh vegetables and herbs to be brought on Board the aircraft from the garden in a few minutes. Only passengers of Emirates Airlines will be able to taste them, but trade in products in the future is not excluded – according to estimates, the harvest will reach 2700 kg per day.
Construction will begin in November 2018, and the first harvest is expected to collect by December 2019.
